RL Honorary Mayor's Race at LifePointe

LifePointe Church, through the Chamber of Commerce, hosted the annual dinner and recognition event for the Honorary Mayor of Rio Linda-Elverta.
This event allows non-profits to sell voting tickets as a fundraiser for their organizations at $1 each.

We had representatives including Justin Green with the American Legion, Bill Higgins for the Rio Linda Lions, Richard Mason for the Rio Linda-Elverta Country Lions, and Miss Sandy with Sisters in Christ through LifePointe Church.
This year, we also welcomed Youth Honorary Mayors: Kambria from Higher Ground Church (Bible Quizzing) and Nolan Mason from RLE Country Lions (Leos), who help with costs for kids participating in the County Fair.

The non-profits received $0.75 for each ticket sold. A total of $13,000 was reinvested into the Rio Linda-Elverta community through these organizations.
