I am a planner. Always have been. I would get a book report for high school due in 2 weeks and would be done by the weekend.  It helps that I love to read.  We all know that saying, " God's plan is always best".  Or really the one that goes around - wish God would "share His plan with me!"

But if you read the Old Testament, you will read how the leaders rejected God's plans.  Don't we sometimes do this?  If you remember last week's Word, waiting is probably the hardest we need to do.  I know I am not alone.

I consider myself a late bloomer as a Christian. Accepted the Lord at 42.  But now at 72, I see where God was with me and my children before and during my journey with Him.  I am sure you can look on your life and see where God brought you a blessing, peace or protection.  It doesn't necessarily need to be a huge event to know that the Lord is always with you.  Even when you don't really know God.

Here are some verses for you to reflect on:

Isaiah 40:31

Psalm 27:14, 37:7

Lamentations 3:25

Waiting is not always fun whether in your walk with the Lord, your job, your health or just life.

But definitely worth it!
